Hello I’m Peter Gathercole and I’ve been working as a professional photographer and writer for well over twenty years. Along with commercial work I enjoy natural history photography particularly macro images – taking shots of flowers plus all the bugs and creepy crawlies that live on and around them.

I have recently began publishing books about fly fishing for trout and salmon – one of my greatest passions in life – after a good bottle of wine. A Passion for Trout, which I photographed and designed was published in May 2011 and has received  some very complimentary reviews.
